    Help wiring a latching switch

Thanks to both of you for answering. You've helped me to understand the issue, I thought LEDs would only work from DC but never thought about powering it separately! I'm fitting a motorised potentiometer and think I have a variable dc psu board with 2 outputs somewhere so could use one for the...

    Help wiring a latching switch

I'm building a Mezmerize DC-B1 pre-amp and want to use a latching push button switch with LED. I've bought one from RS Components that's arrived but I'm not sure how to wire it. https://docs.rs-online.com/29c5/A700000007108431.pdf is the link to the datasheet, it came with a resistor and...

Budget Hi-Fi recommendations: streamer, amp, speakers, sub

I've got an original CA cxn streamer, nice bit of kit, doesn't do Qobuz though, it'll be for sale around £300 when the dddac 1794 is finished.

How do I add active sub(s) to my setup?

Into high level from the amp or from the binding posts for mid and tweeter?

How do I add active sub(s) to my setup?

I've recently acquired a pair of valve mono blocks that sound amazing for the vast majority of my listening, but, once in a while I like to listen to some bass heavy stuff (think seven nation army) and at this point it all falls apart and I get a buzzy mess. How do I wire 2 active subs into the...

    Protective filter?

I never use them, I think they degrade image quality, especially contrast, in quite a few shooting situations. A lens hood is more important in my opinion.

    Le Tour

Seemed harsh to me, a racing incident IMHO, the elbow looked partly like an effort to slow his movement to the right (a bit like knee and body moving when hit by a gust of wind from the side).....

    E Bikes

After 20 years of riding in the Peak District I can certainly see your point, hopefully it won't come to that and some areas now have organised groups fighting to keep or increase access. MTB e bikes should cause no more damage than other mtb's, they may slightly increase the traffic but...

    E Bikes

It would Tony, something needs to be done for the environment and our health. Many people are so intimidated by traffic and hills that they don't even consider a bike as a form of transport and exercise combined. We could also do with better bike lanes and the dutch (I think) system of the car...
