Quite simply imo it gives a well balanced, groovy sound and most importantly makes me listen to a lot of music
Out of curiosity, borrowed a friends Umik and used Rew for some measurements from listening position...
+1 for NSC my 401 speed fine adjuster is almost at midpoint, voltage set to 220V. I dont notice any performance drop compared to direct wall power outlets.
Also use the same NSC unit for the L75. Imo a good speed controller and power supply upgrade needs to.be able to vary voltage for quieter...
