I bought tp speakers about 2yrs ago the very first prototype teddy used in audio shows, front vented. Albeit it was used I got a very nice discounted price. Price of the Seas drivers and crossover components were very transparent from the net and therefore was really happy with the bargain...

The NSC is.based on xr2206 chip which is rather an older generation-obsolete sinewave generator, a better alternative would be to build the following if you are into DIY, total parts cost about £100/...

Have had this for 2 yrs plus now, I got the prototype front ported version. Quite simply imo it gives a well balanced, groovy sound and most importantly makes me listen to a lot of music Out of curiosity, borrowed a friends Umik and used Rew for some measurements from listening position...

+1 for NSC my 401 speed fine adjuster is almost at midpoint, voltage set to 220V. I dont notice any performance drop compared to direct wall power outlets. Also use the same NSC unit for the L75. Imo a good speed controller and power supply upgrade needs to.be able to vary voltage for quieter...

And that is the case with analog. Some days the stars do not align and it does not sound right....oh wow learn something new everyday
