    DJ Shadow - Endtroducing

Great record. Lost my original cd a long time ago. Got a vinyl pressing a couple of years ago for Christmas. Still gets the odd run out every now and then.

The downfall of Sir Jeffrey Donaldson

Lols. Even Belfast is lost to unionism. If it were up to me they could have Larnia and Carrickfergus forever but that's prob about it. They might as well fight the horses of the sea a la Cú Chulain if they want to hold on to the rest.

The downfall of Sir Jeffrey Donaldson

Lol. This is the language of bigots and hate filled supremacy.

    She's had enough!! Time for a tin-opener thread :)

Had the same issue recently. We went to Dunelm and bought Kitchen Aid stuff. A tin opener and a pizza slice. Had them a few months and they are robust utensils. Was thinking about kitchen aid knife set with sharpener but it's so cheap I dare not. Problem for a different thread I guess.

    claiming for miles

It won't have any effect on your work. This is a perfectly acceptable tax claim just people who claim back money for other expenses. My old work all knew we were doing it. No reason for them to object and it shouldn't change the 20p per mile they give you. 20p per mile isn't bad, you prob get a...

    claiming for miles

I did this years ago and I seen to recall that my miles were accounted for in monthly amounts.

    claiming for miles

I don't think it is the 25p difference you get back. You get the tax back on the 25p difference because it was a work related expense.

    [WTD] speaker isolation feet

I think I may have a pair of IsoAcoustic Iso Stands that are practically un-used. If you like I will try and find them and see what size they are. I can't see them getting used now at this stage.

    AI and human communication

I see more people using it for sending emails in work situations. Once you've used ChatGPT a few times you can generally spot when people have copied it word for word. As for losing the ability to communicate - yeah maybe. but that might have started before AI became prevalent. You see people...

    Good news for Stormont

The Belfast/Good Friday Agreement (GFA) commits both the Irish and British governments to promote the all-Ireland economy and sets up InterTradeIreland and other agencies to assist in doing so. The ability to trade freely across an open border was one of the main reasons GFA was endorsed in...

    Wiim mini

I was having an issue with the Wiim reading files from my NAS. It only went as far a J in the alphabetised album/artist lists. I emailed them and within 12 hours I had a link to download an updated version of the app that fixed the issue. Really brilliant aftersales service.
