Hello, I fit MKII drivers on MKI IBLs. Very similar drivers. I've found them on ebay two years ago at about 70£… Here's a picture of the two versions when I mount them (MKII left MKI right).

I use Plex Media Server since almost 2 years with my ND5XS. I think, Naim advise a NAS with Twonkymedia.

    Linn Mimik anyone?

Hello, I use a Marantz CD48 + NaimDAC as second source (mainly ND5XS+nDAc) but I have the opportunity to buy a Mimik. Do you think that the Mimik will be far better than the CD48 as a drive? Thank you for advice!

    uncle meat vinyl

I have this album and some other FZ on 70's release. I have also the CD's from 90's. But in my opinion, the better releases are the albums mastered by Bob Ludwig in 2012.... See here ..... http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=24784

Isobarik DMS XLR : crossover recapping

Hello and thank you for advices! The thing is that I prefer not to run active. I prefer recap/improve the crossover first. Do you think it's better only replace the capacitors, or it's better fit a later crossover? Infos : Sn is 001224 and was made in US under license by Isobarik...

Hello, Finally I just opened my Isobarik. I'm very surprised because it was really easy : the bass driver come very easily (not like everyone told me). Here's some pictures of the crossover. Do you think that it's the only crossover? It seems to me that there are an other behind the...

Isobarik DMS XLR : crossover recapping

It's a DMS version with internal crossover (Canon/XLR connector 1980), not an active version. It was designed to play with an Nap250. Mine is just fully revised.... and I have also a Nac72. I read in other thread that the Falcon crossover was made a bit after 1980? I think I will replace the...

Isobarik DMS XLR : crossover recapping

Hello, I've just bought Linn Isobarik DMS with Canon/XLR connector (1980). It sounds good but I'm not over-impressed after my Linn Index or Naim IBLs. I listen in big room with LP12/52/SC/250. I think I will at last change the scanspeak tweeters. They seemed tired.... But I have a...
