    Today I have mainly been v3

    Up early for a fast 12k run in preparation for the marathon next Sunday. That's the training over. Drove over to visit mum, and sis was there too which was great. Then on to dad's care home....fast asleep, not looking good. Then walked to the pub for some prehydration (see above). Few jobs...

    Just over a week to go now.....and marathonitis has set in: Everything hurts. The slightest twinge means I've pulled a muscle. I need to eat much more than normal. No lifting. Avoid meetings in rooms full of people (who might have a cold). Worry about what to wear. Look at the weather...
