Tony It’s a bit more complicated but I had the people at Armstrong Audio take out the computer boards and simply insert input connectors to make it a bog standard power amp. They could do it with the full width version but caulked at the shoebox one. Not trivial but not rocket science either...

Sorry, I am guilty of trying to respond to two things at once. Yes, you made no such suggestion. My first comment was to deal with to whom the link referred, although I doubt that Rob himself would have originated this unexplained post linking to his site.

FWIW, Rob of Amplabs is very well regarded for his work on old Quads. He has just fettled mine. I am not aware that he plans to pack it in any time soon.

Adam, I already have one (used with a number of streamers and computers up to stuff of the quality of an Antipodes rig fed through it into Meridian actives) but just popped on to endorse this great little box. Funny to praise something that essentially does nothing to the sound! Peter
