Finally some high performance Klipsch speakers

Only to people who understand what they are measuring and what they mean. It is easier to believe ignorance is bliss. And for most people it is

[FS] Trenner & Friedl Art speakers and stands

These really are stunning speakers and deserve to much better known. There are plenty of complementary reviews on the net for people to pour over and draw their own conclusions. However there is an unusual review that provides an enormous amount of measurement data; graphs and waterfall plots...

[FS] Trenner & Friedl Art speakers and stands

It would appear that the UK Distributer/dealer (8th Dimension)for Frenner & Fiedl are no longer listed on their web site. They were when this ad first appeared! Has anyone here dealt with them?

Thank for your reply. I hope that you do not mind me asking; what do you drive them with, would they tolerate, say push pull set amps (20w), or do they prefer more power. I assume that the picture is of the Fyne F1.5 alongside the T & F; any obvious differences? I am asking as I am looking to...

    HiFi Deluxe Show

I was in two minds of wether to go or not but went up and stayed overnight. I am glad I did. I thought that it was very civilised, well organised and with the availability of bean to cup coffee, a free happy hour and people to help you find your way around there was not much more you could want...

Is this the best tonearm in the world?

There is a tonearm that has very few adjustment that can be made, simple design, and ignores all the received wisdom associated with the design and set up of a tonearm. The Viv. This is a plonk and play tone arm that ignores everything i have been taught about tone arms. I had the pleasure of...

For those that like a good valve amplifier and need some power too

It makes a real change to hear from someone who is able to make a balanced and openminded comment, without bias or prejudice whilst at the same time reinforcing the current fashion for political correctness. I understand perfectly that your views regarding Tron are deep seated and ingrained

For those that like a good valve amplifier and need some power too

HMM...rather harsh. I remember when master sound were being bounced round the the usual UK importers looking for someone to take them on. They did struggle as there were some unreliability issued at the time. I assume that these have been well resolved. If memory serves me right, the precursor...

Is this the best tonearm in the world?

It is interesting that no one in this thread has mentioned his 'a priori' position that his TT references are the console TT's of the 40's and 50's and also that they seem to have never been bettered since then. If we do not buy into this then he is wasting his time
