821 boards would be the far cheaper option. The only thing I feel an 82 would bring is a remote! - well, apart from having a more 'hi-fi-ee' sound. Get some 821 boards & save yourself a stack of cash. Avondale offer a sale or return policy, so nothing to lose...

What's best for internal fuses - quick blow or slow blow? Also, are Bussmann really any better than other makes? What's best & from where? Thanks

I'm currently selling my Avondale upgraded NAP250 (chrome bumper) & would like to take the cover off in order to take a pic of the upgraded internals. This morning I unscrewed the 4x rubber feet in the corners, but this did not seem to free the sleeve. I noticed there are 5 allen screws flush...

Just ordered a pair of D2008/8511 from Germany (£100 delivered). Then, hopefully all I'll need to do is to use the brass weights from the old tweeters to fix to the back of the new ones when installing. Thanks for everyones help :)

I can get a pair of Hiquphon OW1's for £158 delivered, which is obviously more expensive than the Scanspeaks. Just wondering if the OW1's will sound better than the (Naim supplied) D2008's in a pair of SBL's. Anyone with SBL's running the OW1's?

I'm going up to see Les this Tues... Anyone know what the current cost of a pair of 'Naim' D2008's is from a dealer? Also, who sells the Hiquphon units in the UK?

thanks fox. -So would the 'off the shelf' D2008's sound inferior to replacement tweeters bought from Naim? What I'm getting at I suppose, is can anyone actually tell the difference?! I was hoping to get a pair of replacements by this Tues, & the only way I can do that is to visit...

Quick question - are the Scanspeak D2008 (e.g. from Wilmslow Audio) exactly the same units as a Naim dealer would supply as std replacements for SBL's? Alternatively, are there any better replacements available? Thanks
