I ca recommend the 82 upgrade, had it done 3 years ago and has been great. It was a massive step up from the stock 82.

A Heed power supply really improved mine.

About a year ago I put one on my RP, it was a worthwhile upgrade. There was more detail and everything sharpened up. I borrowed one from my friendly hi fi shop and never looked back.

I've had my 82 back after the superlink for just over 3 weeks and it's thoroughly settled in. I think it's an excellent upgrade. While it still sounds like an 82, there's so much more of everything: more, detail, more clarity and above all more fun. I'm really enjoying both CDs and vinyl...
