It really is Groundhog Day isn’t it? :). All the new Naim stuff will become affordable on eBay in about 20 years or so. Whats the problem? Most of my kit is 30+ years old. It’s about patience vs instant gratification. At least reading the title of this thread made me smile (again!).

The NDX is a superb bit of kit and is incredibly cheap now. It’s a good buy as long as you are aware of its limitations (Tidal, Spotify and uPnP - Hardwire network highly recommended). You can easily sell it on in future because there are many out there just like you. The screens fade over time...

Dynaudio Emit M10s on Target wall brackets (or similar). Sound lovely in my 2nd system. They really surprised me despite the great reviews. Emit 10s are the current model.

It’s not clear as to whether the tax is on income or profit. If you buy on eBay something worth £1200 and sell it on for £1000 a year or so later you’ve lost £200. Or am I missing something? 🤔

I have a memory of someone using XLR adapters to achieve this can’t remember who but any Naim dealer should be able to assist.

Pretty much exactly my experience when comparing Tidal lossless to Spotify 320kbps. I listen to Spotify and enjoy it immensely. Not holding my breath for Spotify hifi and doubt I would pay extra for it.
