I'm pleased that you are enjoying your new Vitus SIA-025, it certainly is a different beast to Naim, I agree there is a lot more sound stage, width and depth compared to Naim. I'm really enjoying the Vitus Reference amp I bought recently, I'm really pleased with it....I don't miss my Naim...

The Vitus RI-100 Integrated amp. I will (hopefully) get the SIA-025 Signature amp one day...that is my aim anyway. The RI-100 should arrive sometime next week so watch this space for an update.

I also auditioned a Devialet (the 220 Expert Pro) and I too found it unemotional and also not very musical...strange really because it has all the attributes to be a great amp. I did seriously consider moving to Devialet, the older Devialet amps (the 120,200 etc) were slightly cold and sterile sounding I thought but the main thing was they lacked musicality. A month or so ago I heard one of the new Expert Pro amps (the 220) and they are definitely better than the older...

That's what I like about Vitus- the 3-D sound staging...it really is impressive.

I've ordered the RI-100 (with DAC)...I should receive the amp in a few weeks...hopefully. Do you use the mains cable that comes with the Vitus or do you use another cable?
