    Ukraine V

I think the Kremlin propaganda machine has influenced large sections of the media and social media spaces, not to mention politicians in many countries. He has captured the GOP, for example. In this respect, Putin is running rings around the West and may well achieve his objectives because of this.

its not over yet, but its going to take the US to finally do the right thing and European countries to wake up to the danger on their doorstep. So the odds are not looking good. With the rise of pro kremlin, far right parties across Europe, things are looking very bleak right now. A very dark...

Post-Trump: III (decline, further tantrums, legal proceedings, book deals etc)

I was going to post a video from BTC about the Alabama result. I have said this before, but if the Dems can make women’s abortion rights a key campaign issue then they are going to capture a huge amount of extra votes. The latest result is another example of this.

Post-Trump: III (decline, further tantrums, legal proceedings, book deals etc)

I have been following the progress of Trump’s legal cases for a very long time now. Countless hours reading newspaper articles and watching youtube videos. I get the feeling that it has all been a colossal waste of time. I really shouldn’t have bothered. I am never going to get those countless...

horses for courses, but I use Panracer gravel king SS (semi slick) tyres which do not have a knobby centre tread. They are fast on the road and on hardpack gravel which is where i do most of my riding. No good in muddy conditions, but there isnt really much mud around here.

    Car - going electric

The problem is that most PFM members are close to or past retirement age and are very set in their ways. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks, it’s just the way it is. It can be frustrating at times but it’s best not to be too bothered about it. It’s up to younger generations to change the world.

    Car - going electric

this is probably the most sensible advice, to be honest. I am very pro EV but if you are only going to do low miles than the honda will go on for another decade. however, if you are determined to get another car then an EV would be a good choice. Plenty of good second hand EVs now are well...

Hi Mick, I guess you didn’t watch the video I posted upthread about Trump’s glitches during last weekend’s rallies. He isn’t going to last much longer!

If he doesn’t die then he’ll likely be barely able to talk

Cycling log - random events in the day of a cyclist II

Did my first biggish ride of the year yesterday, the weather was surprisingly warm for the time of year. We used the strava mapping app to suggest a route based on your preferred distance. The route was surprisingly good, quiet roads that we wouldn’t have known about and lovely scenery. This is...
