Most of the improvements are in CAF and trcaking as opposed to speed of single point focus.

AF works fine as the only focusing lens is the original on the X100 - the other adapters have no moving glass, just dumb optical assemblies! You do need the WCL in between the original lens and the fisheye adapter to get the full fisheye circle
