Nothing wrong with the amps, just substituted speakers with a set of wilmslow audio Vortex which are two way with a 10" base and they sounded great, amps never cut out. Maybe i am expecting too much, the fans are always coming on before the power amps cut out. Yes i do play loud but why else...

As stated earlier today links have been re soldered when the crossovers were recaped, so now using just one set of speaker cables, just don,t want to waste my time trying to get a granny to dance..Tim

Can anybody give advice on possible upgrades to the midrange and/or tweeters for the famous Linn bricks late models 7xxxxx(number). I do not min routing out for tweeters but would like to stick with the kef b110 mid footprint..Tim

Finaly got a pair of 135s now i find that one of the Crossovers for my Linn PMS Isobariks is not working.Does anybody Know of anybody who would repair them..They are not the Canon ones but slide under the speaker stands..:mad:Tim

i Have a black ash pair of bricks serial 7854 and they a just sucking the power out of my cromb bumpered 250 , keeps overheating, thinking of avondale 130s or a pair of avon 135s any suggestions or experance .Tim:confused:

Many thanks fot the intrest my bricks serial no 007854 and yes the old style 250 keeps tripping. I do like to hear them loud and am a little disapionted particualy with the base which seems to be just warming up when the amp trips. As i said the naim dealer said i would need 135s to get good...
