    Kremlin & Kout Service?

Hi E.B, Well - Yes & No - the Klout was returned as 'recapped' with the 'aktive' crossover removed as requested, but due to ongoing 'health issues', it has yet to be removed from its 'box'. Apparently, as the Kremlin "lit-up when plugged-in", it was 'incorrectly' judged to be 'working', and...

Mr Tech Guy - Anyone used him/them?

I contacted Mr Tech Guy last year regarding the possible resusitation of my Meridian 506.24 CD player after it had ceased reading discs. As I had already decided to deliver a 606.2 to Quad in Huntingdon, I arranged to deliver it to him, before heading home via Amplabs in Worcester on the return...

[FS] Lenco GL75 modified ‘Jolly’ bearing

R.S. Thank you for the 'clarification'. I've been a member of L.H. for several years (2010), and have read about 'Sien's' bearings. In fact, I purchased one of his 'cartridge alignment' tools last year which I have found easier to use than my 'Dr Feickert' (ancient eyes). Regards Mike K.

[FS] Lenco GL75 modified ‘Jolly’ bearing

I would also be interested to hear which 'replacement' you chose? I'm fortunate enough to have one of J. de F's 'complete' bearings mounted on my G99. Regards Mike K.

    LP12 Advice

Thank you Mr Pig for your comments about the suggested values, and also the likely response from 'LP12 Bits'. I'm realistic enough to realise that selling to any dealer wouldn't achieve the same price as selling privately. I purchased the LP12 as a 'curiosity' and it has never actually been my...

    LP12 Advice

Thank you colasblue, your 'breakdown' figures for the individual parts was really useful. The links to 'e-pay' for the two 'Cirkus' sub-chassis's was interesting, the one with the armboard appeared to be cut for an 'Arrow'. To be honest, I was surprised to see what I would have considered as...

    LP12 Advice

Thank you flatpopely, my initial thought was that £3500.00 was a reasonable figure for it. Regards Mike K.

    LP12 Advice

Thank you for the responses so far. I was hoping that somebody would suggest a reasonable 'ball park' figure for it's worth, I would prefer that it would go to somebody who really wants it rather than attempt to squeeze every last penny from the sale. Perhaps as suggested, it would make sense to...

    LP12 Advice

I've decided that I would like to move my LP12 on, however, given the diverse specifications of the ones that I see for sale I'm unsure how to 'price it'. Purchased (2001) from Chris Brooks, with a black ash plinth, Ekos (1), Arkiv, Cirkus, and a Lingo 1, it was little used as I had a Roksan...

‘The best of British’ - Quad & LS3/5A.

Perhaps one could 'kill two birds with one stone' by purchasing some 'british' brands from I.A.G. Regards Mike K.

    [IC] Age Related Disposal

Ahh!! Thank you for that information. I'm just surprised, I assumed that it would be simpler to add 'sold' to individual items rather than adding to the 'length' of the initial post, or adding to the number of 'conversations'. Regards Mike K.

    [IC] Age Related Disposal

Although I've bought a few items via the PFM 'classifieds', this was my first attempt to 'sell' anything, and therefore I'm unfamilier with the 'mechanics', i.e. although I was initially able to edit my 'post' to show that the Groovemaster sliding base was 'sold', it would appear that I can't...

    [IC] Age Related Disposal

This is some of the kit (more to follow), acquired over the years, which I need to 'move-on'. I've listed all the items, just in case 'collection' of several items would make travelling to Torquay more economically viable, I would consider delivery for speakers @ cost, but smaller 'boxed' items...
