Don't forget the break-in period... mine seems to sound better and better too after some firmware updates but i think it is more related to the burn in process, than the different firmware updates... 100+ hours now, also using headphones 90% of the time... Mike -

Silver isn't that rare anymore... several dealers in europe have them in stock. Two of them amazon UK and amazon DE. The hardest part in the order process for me was to decide between black and silver:D I'll wait with the update to Mountain Lion for now to see how it works out with the... -

Fastest M-Dac Purchase ever... I guess... Ordered Tuesday morning.. delivered wednesday morning.. Silver of course... i read somewhere in this mega thread that they sound better than the black ones :D j/k It came with 0.96 out of the box - sealed.... currently burning in.. 30+ hours...
