Assembled only? Oh well. Just token work so they can remain 'British'

This is good to see. Some of the Coatbridge Tannoy staff have been re-employed too.

I see this is an old thread but did I understand correctly you only want £30 for the Cambridge CD200? If that's right and it's still available I'll have it please :)

    Old vs ‘new’ Croft

That's a museum I would like to visit! Especially if it was a working museum with maybe Tom Fletcher's turntables and Len Gregory's cartridges with many vintage speakers.... Sorry! Thread drift.

Found this. The Bish was selling one last year and it has 6 valves altogether. The 12BH7a is connected to the outputs. Post in thread 'Croft RIAA-R Special Editon MM phono stage upgraded by Glenn Croft'...

I've got an RIAA (into a 25R Line) but I see there is another valve connected to the outputs in the R version so I assumed it might be a buffer.

Hi Vinny I'm ot 100% sure but maybe the RIAA R has a buffered output so can be used with solid state amps?

If you like the sound have you considered getting a cheap solid state power amp? Maybe something from Arcam, Quad or NAD. Plenty options available if you are prepared to wait. Or a wanted ad here on PFM?
