^That's true. LX3/5 are small enough especially if you have large hands like atleast I do ;)

If size is key criteria then Canon S95 would be a very strong option. My friend has one as travelmate and it is clearly smaller than my LX3 and it makes good images too..

What is told above of the depth of field and other issues is true. These are really cameras for travelling and general use, so I would also say you have to think teh usage and your own preferences carefully.These are taken during the past few weeks with my LX3..

Yep, luckily we knew where we were going. Just few mins after taking the pic we skied down the steep couloir had watched for years and planned the night before :) Here is still other one taken immediately after the roadtrip when returned back home to see the labour day celebrations..

Did a 10 day roadtrip to northern Sweden and Norway with few friends during the past weeks. Did some climbing and skied some nice couloirs also. This is from a ridge next to a peak called Rombakstotta near Narvik.

Quite snobby attitude. I'm sure in several B&W pics taken by digital equipment there is plenty of more going on than some people can ever achieve with quality B&W film equipment. Photographing is not about the tech stuff and the equipment, those are only tools to help us put the effort to...
