I'll soon to be setting up an Orbe SE/SME 309/AT33 PTG II. I feel I've mastered all of the steps in tonearm setup over the years except for AS. After about 2 years with whatever cartridge I'm using, I always end up with the cantilever pointing towards the centre of the record. I must be doing...
I'm selling 3 of my Linn LK140 amps in good working order. These have been used to drive my PMS Aktiv Isobariks for a few years. I've now changed to different amplification so these are now spare. Each comes with the original owners manual.

Over the OP budget but I've just replaced 3 x LK140 for a Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 and am very pleased with the result. Oodles of power and excellent control of the cones.
I've ended up with the Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7.
First off, it is very heavy and definitely a two man lift unless you are a courier driver who's company is not concerned with the staff's health.
New rack in place and I settled down to listen to my standard triple LP new equipment test; 90125...

Now this does look interesting. Good reviews on it too.
I remember in the 80s they released the A1, a 2 channel behemoth that ran hot enough to boil a kettle on.
I must have a listen to this one. Not that I can sneak it into the house though as at 32.5Kg I'll need SWMBO to help me lift it .
Some interesting ideas thanks.
@daytona600 The Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 looks interesting. I have a dealer here that stocks it so I may be able to hear it.
@boon, thanks, I noticed the Klouts on SoundCraft yesterday.
@colasblue A kit could be fun.
I'll do some research.
Looks like I'll...
I moved away from a separate hi-fi pre to save on box count as I was only using it for the TT phono stage and as a passthrough from the AVP.
Now my separate MC phono stage goes straight into the AVP.
The Anthem has a very good audio section. I'm sure it could be bettered by a separate box but...
