I think it makes sense from a "source first" POV to get first the source right before spending thousands on a DAC. Doing it in this order the reward is in most cases a greater musicality and more fun to listen to music. I am curious if Spotify will launch lossless this year...

Thank you, it is even more complicated as the regulated DC output of the 4DR is +/-50V and the unregulated DC output is about +/-59V. Maybe the unregulated output is too much for the SE230? Matt

Yes, it looks very nice. AFAIK, it seems to be based on the Soekris dam1941-12 DAC module. Any listening impressions so far? Thanks Matt
