I fitted a sidedraught Webber 45DCOE to mine, fabbed an airbox where the original center instruments were and filled a 1275GT instrument pod instead. Not sure the Webber was any better than the twin SU's but it looked way cooler!
Cramped to work on but... you could change the clutch without removing the engine, and if you did need to remove it you could do that easily with 2 people and a rudimentary winch. I did quite significant mods on mine with nothing more than a set of ramps and all the mods including block changes...
Bought a non-working OM-4 on ebay for $9 (plus shipping). It had the same jammed wind on problem as an earlier OM-2SP I had. Relatively easy fix after taking off the bottom cover. Meter and shutter now work fine. Do I keep it as a back up or flog it again on ebay? (Perhaps having an OM-1, OM-2SP...

It was pretty obvious that Iran would respond in some way to the dumb move by Israel's attack on the Iranian embassy. Netanyahu is a danger to the world, more so IMHO that the nut jobs ruling Iran. He has lit a fuse that will be tough to extinguish without loss of many more lives.
My suspicion...
Both models I feel look far better lowered an inch or two, the wheel to wheel arch gap is far too large stock. Pretty easy to change out the OEM springs to slightly stiffer and shorter ones.
