Hi I have been trying to pick one of these up for a keen price as a gift for someone as I understand that they can use the currrent Innuos app and should be a lot more reasonable than the Mk3. Just thought I would see if anyone has one surplus to requirements? thanks

Just checking if there is a market for this. Its in close to mint condition with an unused (mint); cables and original box and a couple of pucks. It is faulty however and no longer plays discs - it failed over a period of time playing some CDs but not others but now its given up completely...

Hi @linnfomaniac83 could you or someone else confirm which exact old players will have the mech I need for the CDX because I have concluded that buying one and then trying to harvest the mech and transplant it is prob my only option to see if I can get the CDX to work again? thanks

Thats totally beyond my pay grade Im afraid. I can just about manage with desoldering and soldering back wiring for a new mech (I think) but no testing stuff.

I am actually trying to get it to work before gifting it to a pal so yes to that...just hoping that someone on here has managed to pull off a similar repair and can talk me through where to source the part(s) and what to do.

Hi - no sign/noise of spinning whatsoever. This is a change - it used to spin cds earlier in the year before I boxed it up and moved it to our temporary accommodation. The problem in the past is that it then only played maybe 50% of discs. Now the fascia lights up but no spinning and no sound...

Hi yes tried a new puck. The CD doesnt seem to be moving now when the drawer is closed and you press play. IN the past when you opened the drawer it would still be spinning. So its hard to say if the laser is faulty or the mechanism that spins the disc? Or is this all part of the same assembly...

My CDX now refuses to play any CDs at all having previously played some sporadically. Naim can't service them as I have checked before. Am I correct in thinking that you can source replacement laser units on ebay etc and if so are these suitable for a diy instal? thanks.

I can actually answer the last question myself now - yes the iphone app allows you to control volume. Now the last thing on my wish list would be if you were able to use Siri via the iphone or a Homepod mini to increase/decrease volume or select music from what you have stored on your Zen? I...

What is a puck 5 and does it work with an olive CDX as that sounds like a cheap try out? Any links to these refurbished transports and description on how you fit them? thanks
