Hi, R10, the 470R between emitter of Q3 and 15R to ground on the 323 MC board issue 2 is overheating on both MC boards (unmodified). the circuit board is brown and the top layer on one R is flaking off - I am a bit surprised given this is a low power stage (in preamp). is this an issue...

it is poor and lazy to assume or jump to conclusions, or put words into people's mouths - ask, get clarification. If we assume, sometimes we are right, sometimes we are wrong. always better to clarify than guess.

Ragaman, I don't think you read Sue's post as it was written. Sue didn't say idiots (or anybody) are not entitled to vote in a democracy. Or that intelligent people are only allowed to make decisions. I believe Sue was describing pragmatically what is.
