    The Tesla Dilemma

I bought a Tesla before Musk became more than just a mega egotist but some thoughts Everything apart from the indicator, beam lights, pulsing a windscreen wiper and shifting gear, everything is controlled from the screen. This means if you wear glasses you do need to be able to see the screen...

    Prescription cycling glasses

I use this company https://www.optilabs.com/product-category/sport/cycling-sunglasses/ they are insert lenses behind the glasses but they are a good price and have suffered my dropping them etc. The fact that they are not as expensive as others means that they can be replaced without too much pain!

What vinyl condition problems can you live with?

I am prepared to have LPs in various condition so long as I have chosen it so. I will accept VG but frankly I have found that that can move over a wide spectrum of noise. I recently bought a record as mint which had a great visible mark across one side. "no, it's still mint because you cant hear...

This is true but the issue is a slave trader, no matter how much money he gave away, supposed to have statue to venerate this deeds without it being clear what the deeds might be. It might be reasonable to assume that for many years that context was always there and people saw nothing wrong with...

    Joe Brown, mountaineer RIP

Very sad. A hero in my teenage years. RIP Joe. I still have my JB climbing helmet from then. It got me the nickname of 'bluebell'! You may have to be old enough to understand that too.

    Discogs - first bad transaction

I too recently had my first bad experience on Discogs. A record from Spain that was not mint and had a huge scratch across it. When I asked for a full refund he accused me of lying saying that the scratch was inaudible! So I suggested with that response he knew that there was a scratch and that...

well, as you can see this government is nationalising the rail service again so.......................are they doing this so they can bring down fares and create an efficient usable service or will they just be re-franchising it to some tory crony so they and they can get rich again?

    Favourite b-sides

I always had a soft spot for "Eastbound Train' by Dire Straits on the back of 'Sultans of Swing'. A perfect double A side for me. Although as I lived in New Cross for many years I may be biased!
