This thread is a good reminder that I need to finish cataloguing my LP's. This may then stop me buying extra copies of things I already have plus give my children an idea on its value, when it comes to selling it, when my rpm's have dwindled to zero.

Remember going to one on the IOW pre pandemic and found a few albums that were of interest at reasonable prices. Mainly buy my LP's online when there is a deal on or in the local charity shops. Wondering if worth going to Guildford tomorrow for a browse.

I feel your pain. My son moved out around 12 months ago and for the first time ever I was able to set up a system in a dedicated room. Good points raised though about enjoying your time together and hope she can get the money together for her own place in due course.

Perhaps better to change the sockets rather than having to find other cables? Then you wouldn't have to worry about any future cable changes you make.
