Yep lockwood gonna do the cones full refurb when i ring them Monday,(they dont know it yet lol),and gonna have the crossover caps and bits sorted properly :D

Budget well tbh im looking at about 3k but something has come up and looks like its gonna cost about 1k all in a pair Tannoy Cheviots that to be refurbed

These are quite larges boxes hopefully they be what im looking for

"Thinks" what you want! Its not a cop out i know what ive listened to and if i put down every single speaker i listened to it would take all day so NO its not a cop out!

Modern speakers too many to list they just dont do it for me so im going to go for something from the 70s-80s and big'ish

Playing in a band has heightened my quest for real sounding speakers when you hear real live music and record in studios it just makes most modern speakers so restricted.

Exactly,seems they have lost there way for a true 2 channel stereo speaker :( and are making things that look nice and home friendly which they have to do as living rooms are getting smaller and making for the masses,we need a good old proper speaker manufacturer
