Hello all,
Does anyone know if a UK version of a Naim Armageddon can be made to use in the US?
I've purchased amps from the UK and was able to use them with a simple voltage conversion and fuse swap. I assume it would be the same with the Armageddon.
Any input would be appreciated...
I agree, I live is Seattle and did a trip along the coast from here to Sonoma, CA. last year.
It was amazing. The Pacific Coast Highway is beautiful. You won't be disappointed.
Vuk,
Congrats on the Blue Jays making it to the ALCS! They are quite a team. I'm a huge baseball fan originally from Boston now living in Seattle. All of the series so far have been really entertaining. I love playoff baseball! Good luck to Toronto the rest of the way.

Shari,
I ran rega r7's in a naim system for a long time. I loved them! I got a great deal on a pair of SL2's, and although they are fantastic, I'm still not sure I should have sold the Rega's.
The drivers are held in place with some sort of sealant. You really do need to pry it out after you remove the bolts. If you're not comfortable removing it
I would have a dealer do it if you have one close by.
Hi Spider,
I had a similar problem with a driver on a Rega RS5. It turned out to be a small tear in the driver near the cone. I had it replaced by my dealer.
Is changing the voltage on a napsc as simple as changing the mains lead and wiring it properly? I've got one on the way from the UK to the US.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
No, It wouldn't be stupid. I recently bought a 2005 cdx2 and I love it. I have owned a cd5 with hicap and it was great. I also had a cdx, The cdx2 is by far my favorite.
