As a fan of drag races I feel obliged to drop this one as its really fun and had me grinning from ear to ear all the way through. The pit crews are amazing, clay got through to the finals, after rebuilding, putting the heads back on something stripped and they had to dismantle everything, change...

Cool Project hampered by dodgy chinese suppliers. Wonder what you could generate with a larger wheel (width wise) or even two or more generating devices? or both even? The windings could also be made of aluminium with a liberal coating of enamel (lipstick on a pig) like the transformer in...

Can a sub be too big for the room?

Go for as big as your partner/finances/foundations/walls will allow You will be far better off with a good monster(s) who is just ticking over flapping your trousers than a smaller sub that has to operate near limits at lower frequencys to give you the same `effect` Tuning the beast small or...

James post here is most important! Getting a hole off centre or slightly inebriated going in is a major pain in the arse!! T nuts MUST be glued, they can knock out with just the weight of a bolt and if they come loose while trying to remove a bolt, pray you have access to the rear! Lovely build...

    Bench Power Supply Recommendations Please

I got one of these a few years back when building 4 Hackernaps, worked a treat, I only tested the amplifiers output up to 40v rms into the scope as my 8R load gets a bit warm. Was a bit gutted when I found out I couldnt run a pi400 from the extra 5v 3A output as its usb c only...

Any DIY diagnosis I can do on a CD-63

I had to find some silicone grease for a new ignition coil/wire/cap I had to install on me motorbike, not one of the local `motoring` stores had it. I did find it at a local Plumbers Merchant as its good for plastic pipe fittings!

    Naim NAIT 3/NAC 92/NAP 90 schematic/circuit diagram

A popular choice on PFM are the little red WIMA film caps for input duties. I personally have not tried them in my Naim 92/90`s but I am using them on all 6 of my HackerNAPs. Unsure if its the 10% or the 5% versions but Im using the 5`s...
