Thanks for the replies, interesting on the c298 vs m23, not worried about the fancy casework, the 298 would match the c388, be interesting to understand how much better the amplifier is in the 298 vs 388. Speakers are Quadral chromium 8. Want a bit more drive through them, love the functionality...

The eco decks were made using plinths with minor defects, this one has a very small imperfection at the front - see photo
