Okay, well my experience is different. I compared them both on a Naim Superuniti, the bass on the SHL5 was bigger but not so tight as the M30.1. I thought the SHL5 was more restrained than the M30.1 , the M30.1 had a more refined and detailed sound. A subwoofer can take the frequency below 50hz...
