Imposta sul Valore Aggiunto or IVA in Italy (VAT for UK, TVA in France) is about 20% on such products. This tax is included in the price so don't bother about it. Only if you are non EU resident you don't have to pay it. Jacques

Andy, I suppose you think of chris harban exotic plinths in USA but they are very expensive, see this topic http://www.lejonklou.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=294 I find them "too much" or "bling bling" for my taste, prefer more classic Linn plinth Jacques

You can find 2d hand corner braced LP12 plinth in excellent condition on evil bay for less than 100 £ Jacques
