This year I used a dry mix of Floor Tile cement (swimming pool) grade mixed with some play sand. I watered it in and this has set very hard and I hope it will last for a few years. Quite a cheap option compared to some.

I've had a Pontus 2 for around 18 months and had no issues whatsoever. I feed it with a Pi and digi hat using a toslink connector. As others have said it sounds fantastic. I think the warranty is three years not one year as stated in the previous post.

I have the pontus 2 and previously ran a CDX2 with power supply and it sounds better than that - It now sounds good enough to me that I have stopped listening to the 'HIFI' and just let the music flow. My current system is probably here to stay unless something breaks.
