Best to listen in your own space of course but the measurements tell you a fair bit - they can certainly guide whether it’s worth a demo or not, especially with actives where the partnering kit is built in.

Best thing to do would be measure the room so you know exactly what you’re dealing with. If you like the QC25 sound you can aim for a similar FR but bass isn’t trivial to get right in a room. It may not necessarily be that you need more bass. But it probably is, or rather some more and some less.

Unless you’re local getting hold of the goods will be a hassle. So auction markup plus Vat plus no warranty - would only make sense if they go for peanuts but my hunch is will end like eBay. Be interesting just to watch As for why, could have just been a bad business but I guess everything is...

Roon have previously posted about this. Qobuz licensing agreements with labels etc don’t allow third parties to have downloadable content. Both Roon and Qobuz (and presumably Tidal) are capable, but the providers don’t have permission, so it’s legal rather than technical.

I’d say the bass and mid clarity on both the actives was better. Quite a bit better. But I’d have to compare at home - I have a tricky room. Both of the actives have cons.... less to do with SQ.
