If your TV does Dolby Vision then the Sony 800 requires you to manually select DV - it doesn't do it automatically, which is why I got a Panasonic 820 instead. If playing CDs was a requirement then I'd have gone for a Panasonic 9000 or perhaps a Reavon if I wanted to be adventurous. I'm not sure...

I decided to try a Sablon Audio 2020 ethernet cable and the difference was obvious without having to try and detect it.

I'm using Belden 8760 cable into mine and it seems fine, although I'm interested in trying something different to satisfy my curiosity. Which speakers are you getting?

I hadn't heard of them. I've been offered an Ansuz A2 power cord for the same money as the one you linked to. I've looked for some reviews but there's nothing recent.

I'd be interested in any feedback from people who have actually used them. If anyone has tried the Ansuz Ceramic or Nordost Frey 2 power cables then I'd also be interested to know your thoughts and comparisons to other similar power cables.
