Hi Graham
On a different note, I've tried sending you a PM's since, your original thread, but that option seems blocked.

I'm really interested in your single chqnnel (mono) speaker protection...
You might want to consider this - see thread:

I could add it to the GB
I'm getting one for myself for my premp rebuild - a good friend has used them and they seem to be good quality without breaking the bank -...
WOW,
I've just read the whole thread and linked threads.
I'm struggling to find adequate words to reflect my admiration and respect for your skill and dogged determination in setting out on, and "running" this marathon.
Thank you for sharing your journey and providing such a thoroughly...
I'll be closing this thread next Friday 12th Jan.
I am hopeful of a 10% discount on any orders placed - (but please note this is not yet guaranteed)
Wishing you all as unstrssful 2024 as possible.
Great - we may be the only ones, or may its a very slow burn start. I'll leave the thread open for about another 2 weeks and I'll keep you and anyone else interested updated via the thread.
Don't hold my feet to the fire, but I'm hopeful,of a 10% discount 🤞
Okie Dokie – there may be an opportunity for a Group Buy of some Bloor Edwards rotary switched from their PZ and PXR range.
DISCLAIMER:I have no pecuiary or other interest in Bloor Edwards, I will gain no personal benefit from organising a GB other than any possible discount from which all...
Hi Rubycat,
I've tried sending you a pm. but for some reason it won't 'go'.
If there's one 'shoebox" spare I'd be very interestested - please feel free to PM me.

A few years ago, our cat sat on my LP12 (lid closed fortunately) just after my wife had sprayed it with flea spray - I didn;t notice the problem till the following day when the lid had a huge - approx 15 x 15cm bloom foggy appearance ! It was completely opaque !!
After resisting the...
I've used Banzaimusic in Germany for several of the harder to find / source components - transistors and capacitors including some considered almost unobtainable.
I've always found them very helpful and never had reason to doubt the provenance or quality of any of their products.
I'm happy to...
Sorted :)
The "answer was out there".
Many hours of seaching the 'Net and comparing original Naim 323 schematics with Neil McBrides postings (so useful) and finally found this:

Hi Guys,
My new preamp project is going well with Neil's 321 & 729 and 323 cards built along with Neils MMB.

But I've...
I've just reviewed both the MMB for the 321 and 729 cards and the MiniPhonoMB - the answer was staring me in the face all the time: Pins 2 and 13 of the relay are linked on the Phono motherboard which was produced in 2013, but not on the original MMB produced in 2008 when the original relay...

Thanks for the guidance.
Keith (a.k.a Keithsnaim) built Neils PhonoMB in 2009 (which uses the same relay circuit as Neil's NJMMB) He also used the HAMLIN HE722A1200 and had advised me that I do need to connect pins 2 to 13.
Apologies to Keith - I missed your advice re: this in our previous...
