Thanks for the advice. I will see what it is like when it arrives. It only cost £23 on aliexpress, in comparison to £53 on Amzon. It is just a stop gap till I can order a decent phono preamp at the end of January.
I was looking around for a phono preamp and came across Douk Audio on YouTube, Amazon etc. Looked at their website, and they have a range of pretty small and inexpensive amps. I have bought one to give it a try.
Has anyone else on here had any experience of them?

I see that there various versions of the Linn Kan speaker, I think from the first version to the fourth or fifth version.
I have version one using them with NAC 72 NAP 140 and a CJ Walker turntable. I am quite happy with the sound.
