Previous to the NVO I had an ARC PH5 and for a couple of weeks a PH7,an NVO turned up at one of my bake offs,so I had the chance to listen in my set up. Since having the NVO I've had numerous well regarded phono's turn up at my bake off's,but have yet to hear anything I would change it for.

Friday August 8th,ticket price £8-50,a friend was one of the stage carpenters and managed to get a block booking of tickets,from memory there was a 4 ticket limit. I have two first issues,but alas no stickers etc.

Not sure my nerves can take much more.

Apart from the peak,I also had a 5DB dip at 100 and 200hz which it also corrected. By sorting these out midrange is much improved,separation is better defined and it is just a better balanced sound.

I have a 18db peak at 50hz,traps are not possible in my room,some tracks would liven up the room and make the patio doors shake,but if someone mentioned DSP as a cure I would have shot them down,having spent 50 years to get my vinyl set up to where its at now the idea of installing extra cables...
