Hana cartridges are a "safer" purchase as they favor a softer and smoother listening while with Lyra, Dyna and Rega cartridges speed, dynamics and detail are favored, matching the characteristics of Rega turntables and Tom Evans phono stages.

My favourite ones on a Rega deck are: Lyra Argos/Dorian/Delos; Dynavector 17D2 Karat; Rega Apheta 1 or 2; Rega Ania Pro.

I agree with you, but only if the purchase price doesn't exceed £200. I've seen some for sale for £500 which seems like a crazy price to me.
