I think I got lucky with Andy's suggestion. Which makes sense, the top firing Isobariks obviously do not work best with the low ceiling I have and so by reducing the output from those it is really helping. I have some work to do how much deadening to do, as too much will kill the huge space...

It seems to be helping with covering the tops. I am experimenting with different amounts of cover on both the tweeters and mids. Thanks Andy. It will take a while trying out various materials and thicknesses I think and adjusting the 362 to accommodate the changes but I think I could make this...

I will try it Andy, try almost anything, but that does sound a little drastic ! In fact if its just 2-3khz region giving me problems then I should only have to cover the tweeters. I must say the listening room has quite a low ceiling, I am thinking of side panels, but maybe its the ceiling...

I am having problems with my listening room making some nasty high frequency peaks, that's probably not the best term, but basically 2.5-3.5 khz frequency range is generating a 'scream' factor to music, mostly heard in high pitch voices or guitar solos for example. I am running active Briks with an olive 3-6 and this allows me to use a pair of NAP250s for the bass and mid and a pair of 135s for the tweeters. From what I have read the power output is the same or certainly only 5w difference so I am assuming this should result in a balanced sound. I did...

Turns out the only wiring issues were at the tweeter terminal. One last question. I have a new matched pair of OW1 s to replace the blown tweeter ( front ). These will be the new front pair. This means I have a spare tweeter, the previous good front one. This is a very clean, dust free one...

Yes I have a strong back luckily. I will take a look at the wiring in the cavity underneath, I guess I can jiggle them around a bit with the box on it side and playing and see if I can find a bad joint.

Yeah I will get a neighbor of mine to come and have a play. He repairs old amps etc so will certainly have a good idea what is going on. They are the crossover in the base type, so internal wiring should all be original factory I would think.
