Can you post some more photos of the whole driver - you’ve done the same as me and glued the foam on to the chassis by the looks of it . I never had any of the u clamps with my HPDs so had to do that, I think they look much nicer this way , although you appear to have used a wider foam trim...

You’ll never get big bass out of the drivers even in a bigger cab (I tried in 110L) but the 3149 is a lovely sounding speaker all the same . Having said that I switched to 315Hpds after 20 +years with the SGM12x and would never switch back.

I think I have a 6.8m and 7.2m ( didn’t have quite enough to reach across the room otherwise !) I’ll measure in the morning. It’s black ,terminated but not Naim plugs.

That’s a lovely review Gerard thank you . A labour of love for me - my first time hearing Monitor Golds and it was very interesting to hear the difference compared to my HPDs which are “darker” sounding to my ears .Tom Jones in the front room I shan’t forget! Great fun .
