My ae509 are fairly close to but not hard against the rear wall and are happy there. About 20cm away,so not much different really than some of the larger speakers suggested here.
But might stop your installation killing you, your family, and everyone else in your substation supply if you are TNC and a supply neutral fault develops and your new earth becomes the neutral line for the whole postcode.
Suggest getting it checked by an electrician.
I've had the td150 with rb300 running for quite a long time and have been pretty happy with it, albeit aware it wasn't perfect. I'm intrigued to.see how much difference correcting the tonearm mounting makes
Sorry for another TD150 related question. Grateful for advice.
Deck is with a very helpful local shop for service. Springs are sorted. However he has pointed out that the RB300 I had fitted 25 odd years ago isn't quite at the right position - the spindle to pivot distance is about 7mm out. This...
Might try the mushrooms.
I've discovered the tonearm, rb300,is mounted 7mm too close to the spindle. How much difference is this likely to.make? It sounds pretty good to me....
Hi all
My td150 needs new springs. New options aren't all that easy to find.
Has anyone got experience of the replacement sets from intovinyl.com?
Thanks
