I feel pride when I think of our artistic output, which is, across most fields I think, still up there with the absolute best. And I don't put that completely down to privilege in the past. Nationalism is on the rise everywhere and just as ugly everywhere.

I think unless you're selling something pretty exceptional or the price is absolute rock bottom then eBay is your best bet. Things are not selling these days, the market seems very depressed. GLWTS.

The Hegel H160. Reviews seem to suggest it should be a good fit with the speakers. Probably the most uninspiring looking amplifier I'll ever own mind you, let's hope it makes up for that with sonic beauty!

D33 and non M NS1000 yeah pretty sure!

I'm in the market for a new amplifier- integrated or power, valve or SS. Source is an Arcam D33, speakers are Yamaha NS1000. What's out there? Of particular interest: Yamaha A-S2100 Musical Fidelity A5 or something similar with lots of power. A fully sorted Leak Stereo 20 Anything Avondale...

I think I might hold the record for this sort of thing. Cardiff to Dusseldorf and back in a little over 24 hours to pick up my ebony NS1000. Not recommend, wouldn't try it again! Also, my woofers have corrosion on the backs, is there any preventative maintenance I can do to secure the magnets?

Has anyone tried both outputs on a source into the same amplifier with all other things being equal and heard a difference?

They're awful and don't usually actually tell you anything about what you're buying.
