The motor isn't in the right position, I once tried to adjust mine, got it wrong, and then had this symptom. Your dealer should be able to sort it out, but will probably fleece you for a new motor in the process…

It seems a logical approach if one is being objectivist, particularly if you're after minimising PSU induced noise and distortion… but arguably objectivism will only get you so far.
