The Thorens 321 is a excellent turntable, mine is still perfect after more than 30 years , the belt needed replacement some 10 years agao, IMO its better than the LP12 or any Rega.

I agree, avoid all branded power cords. just use inexpensive heavy duty cable and MK plug & sockets.

I onced owned this vastly overated turntable, sent it back because of the rumble , very clever marketing

Yes the twenty 26 were demoed with a Naim & Arcam amp the top & bass are not bad ,its the mid which is the main problem with male & female voices at realistic levels.

I did not like my PMC 25/26 speakers after 100 hours and got a refund. I think the reviews are totally inaccurate

No IMO Analogue SQ has not improved, prices for so-called high end audio are absurd.

FM sound is excellent in NW London especially BBC 3 using classic Technics tuner ST-G90L

Councils are the big problem with inefficient overpaid staff chief execs, earn more than the PM. Also this foul Government ( Labour even worse) wastes far too much money with again overpaid Civil Servants etc. overseas aid must cease.

Having bought and sold on a Arcam Class G P 49 amp (now discontinued),I much prefer a good Class AB amp.

Quad FM4 did not work well for me in NW London, I also had the Yamaha CT 7000 very much overated IMO, best tuner for me is the vintage Technics ST-G90L for many years Gramophone's recommended tuner, try & find one.

They sound OK on first audition ,however later on you hear the faults , I got a refund on my twenty five 26 speakers.

use Van Damme copper £5 a metre do not waste money on anything else, these cables give a natural sound expensive cables alter the sound

PMC twenty five 26 speakers returned for refund , poor quality mid and X over, I do not agree with Hi-Fi World review, avoid these over priced speakers.
