The Thorens 321 is a excellent turntable, mine is still perfect after more than 30 years , the belt needed replacement some 10 years agao, IMO its better than the LP12 or any Rega.
Yes the twenty 26 were demoed with a Naim & Arcam amp the top & bass are not bad ,its the mid which is the main problem with male & female voices at realistic levels.
Councils are the big problem with inefficient overpaid staff chief execs, earn more than the PM. Also this foul Government ( Labour even worse) wastes far too much money with again overpaid Civil Servants etc. overseas aid must cease.
Quad FM4 did not work well for me in NW London, I also had the Yamaha CT 7000 very much overated IMO, best tuner for me is the vintage Technics ST-G90L for many years Gramophone's recommended tuner, try & find one.
PMC twenty five 26 speakers returned for refund , poor quality mid and X over, I do not agree with Hi-Fi World review, avoid these over priced speakers.
