Strangely the new Neil Young album is on blu ray at super hi res as is the new storm corrosion album yet the flac downloads are redbook quality. True I don't want the aural equivalent of a 420p standard def tv picture upsampled to 1080p. If hollywood can release the highest quality blu ray why...

Why is it that flac downloads of some new albums are redbook cd quality only yet blu ray releases have 192/24 encoded? If the full master files are available for blu ray why aren't they available for download in flac or other format? It's just annoying for me who does not own a home cinema set...
