Ah, I'd searched for the rb300 and it seemed to be out of production, I didn't know about the 330. That's maybe pushing my budget a little, how does the 220 compare?

Is there a good budget tonearm available new? I'm looking for the modern equivalent to the RB300. I would have thought the availability of cnc machining these days would allow for a good arm at a good price, but haven't seen much around.

Aren't candescent and incandescent the same thing? Like flammable and inflammable. I thought the prefix in meant not, but perhaps that doesn't apply to hot things. Where's our resident English teacher?

I saw a vintage Braun electric jobbie in a charity shop the other day. All die cast alloy and chrome, I wanted it as a work of art. I use the same ikea manual one I've had for about 20 years.

I'd love a gravel bike. Lots of good gravel roads around my parts. I even live up one. My poor man's gravel bike is a 1980ish Claud Butler touring bike with 42mm tyres. It's a comfy ride and the geometry seems ok but disc brakes and a little less weight would be great.
