Yes the ref belt has made a difference. Just my opinion,but It appears to slow the music down and gives more space in between the notes.

Thank you for the explanation. Iam new to vinyl, my last tt prior to my p6 (which I purchased from a pfm member 7 months ago) was in the mid 80s so I have some catching up to do . Regards to all.

I just compared the white belt with elbt reference, the white belt does appear to be slightly larger but it is a couple of years old may be due to stretching. The EBLT appears to be a tighter fit.

Good evening, this afternoon I replaced my rega white belt on my p6 with the rega reference EBLT belt. On start up there is a noise which last for one or two seconds before going quiet. Has anyone else experienced this is it normal and will it stop once belt has bedded in . Colin
