That's the HFW one - built it myself I think for MC - IIRC I used SSM2017 and OPA604, but a very long time ago - I think I still have the circuit diagram somewhere.
Just get yourself something easy to set up with a properly thought out hung suspension - maybe a nice finish Systemdek 11X or 11X900 and put an acrylic platter on it.
If you don't play vinyl much then there is not much point on paying too much for a replacement.
There is this in Surrey which might be useful for parts but it is collect only.

Bias force is always a compromise - there is no such thing as perfect - it will vary with type of stylus , downforce - the linear speed - the groove modulation - the cleanliness of the records - the amount of stylus wear - absolutely no such thing as perfect for all instances.
I'm convinced a big problem with the LPT is the confined internal space and lack of ventilation around hot components - had one where the problem turned out to be just a fractured resistor.
