I also use an sc22 with a radford st25 series 5 amp. It has been serviced and updated by
Will at Radford Revival and sounds fabulous. I suspect all the original tubes in it help the sound but know
doubt Wills expertese in all things Radford plays a large part as does the seperate power supply he...
I have a STA 25 series 5 bought from Will about 12 months ago,if you put your ear up
to it you can hear a slight hum.

First thing to try is a new puck,my daughters started to act up
saying err on some discs.A new puck sorted it and it plays perfectly
on all discs now

You need to leave the loudspeaker connected on mine there is enough room to unscrew
the loudspeaker terminal enough to get the probe in and tighten up without removing
the speaker wires

there is no need to do the above the test points are made to fit the probes and are secure once inserted,
and as stated in post 222 you can clamp the other securely to the speaker post
