I ordered Hashimoto step up transformers from their American (Japanese) importer. He got them delivered to my hotel in Japan.

They're over on the Hifi Maverick forum listed in private sales.

I enjoyed it. The main AudioNote room sounded superb. The Electrocompaniet mono blocs in the Elite Audio room sounded great. The active ATCs mentioned above were good as were the large Dynaudios. A great day out.

They're less common than rocking horse.....I have one which I had to buy new. It is superb.

I just used a basic "non hifi" power strip. Getting the mains sorted has massively improved my system.

I think mine is only the "lowly" MTS-6. I bought it in a high end hifi shop in Hong Kong, it was the only model they had in stock. It has US sockets. I bought a collection of Oyaide plugs too (the 004) are the best. I'd love to try a MTB-6E.

I think at the prices at which you can pick up new Rotel gear, offers exceptional value for money.

You can pick up a new Rotel RA1572 new for £650 or a mk2 for £800. I'm VERY pleased with my Rotel RAP1592.

No problems with my Termi. Sounds absolutely superb. I've had it 3 years.

I've got a TEAC VRDS10SE which I use a a transport into a Debafrips Terminator. It's superb. It makes a big positive difference to the sound. I'd probably never sell it. I've had it 10+ years.
